The type of accommodation varies based on your preferences or the place where the activity takes place. It can range from luxury lodges, and adventurous tree houses, to camping. All our options offer comfort, great hospitality, safety, and a unique experience.

A lodge typically refers to a permanent building or structure. It often offers multiple rooms or cabins with solid walls, a roof, and amenities such as ensuite bathrooms, electricity, and plumbing, bars, lounges, or swimming pools. Lodges can vary in size and architectural style and provide a more traditional and hotel-like experience.

A tented camp involves temporary or semi-permanent structures resembling tents. They can offer comfortable beds, and basic furniture, and may include ensuite bathroom facilities. They offer a more immersive and authentic safari experience, a closer connection to the natural environment and the sounds of wildlife. Tented camps often have communal areas for dining and relaxation.

Embarking on a Tanzanian safari is not only a feast for the eyes but also for the palate promising to have access to delightful choices of local and international flavors.

Local Delights like “chapati,” a versatile flatbread, and “maharage,” a richly spiced bean stew, the delicious “ugali,” a staple maize porridge, paired with “nyama choma,” Tanzania’s signature grilled meat, often goat or chicken. Coastal influence in dishes like “samaki wa kupaka,” a coconut-based fish curry. Vegetarians can relish in “mchicha,” a savory spinach and peanut curry.

International Cuisine: Expect also to find classics like pasta, grilled chicken or beef steaks, sandwiches, and salads. Breakfasts also include familiar items like cereals, toast, eggs-to-order, and a spread of tropical fruits.

Bush Dining or Picnics: Imagine dining under the vast African sky, beside a crackling campfire. These meals might include barbecue-style dishes, fresh salads, delightful desserts, or restaurant take-outs.

Refreshments: Alongside meals, enjoy a range of beverages from local beers like “Serengeti” or “Kilimanjaro” to international wines and spirits. Don’t forget to sip on the aromatic Tanzanian coffee or tea.

Gourmet Cuisine: Chefs have cultivated dishes that meld age-old recipes with contemporary techniques and presentation styles. The humble “ugali” can turn into delicate dumplings, paired with a rich meat or vegetable ragout, and adorned with microgreens. The coastal seafood is reimagined in dishes like lobster bisque or prawn ceviche with tangy Tanzanian citrus.

Desserts: witness this culinary elevation; imagine a coconut and cardamom panna cotta or a baobab fruit sorbet. You’ll also find wines curated from premier vineyards of South Africa and beyond, ensuring every meal is both a journey and a celebration.
